University of North Alabama Adjunct Instructors - The University of North Alabama invites applications for adjunct (part-time) instructors for the 2023 summer term and fall semester. Persons holding adjunct teaching positions normally teach three to six credit hours or nine contact hours per semester. Adjunct teaching positions will be available in a number of departments but greatest needs are anticipated in the following areas: accounting, business law, chemistry, computer information systems, computer science, criminal justice, data analytics, economics, finance, management, marketing, mathematics, philosophy, physics, political science, and sociology. Minimum qualifications require adjunct instructors to hold a master's degree plus a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the desired teaching discipline. Payment for adjunct teaching is on a standardized university scale according to credit or contact hours taught.
